I've seen Digg and Reddit on lots of sites before and now I know what they are. I signed up for both and posted an article about Fargo on Reddit. I chose Reddit because I like the idea of Karma points. I'm not sure how much I'll use this one either. I just don't spend that much time online.
This could be a very useful tool. You can search the site for whatever you're looking for and see what others think about it. Credibility becomes an issue with this. You have to remember that people's opinions are just that, opinions. Also the stories that are linked may not be credible. That has to be determined just like anything else on the web, you need to research the site and determine if it's legit. I posted from the New York Times.
I've been using StumbleUpon for a while now. I really like it when I'm bored in front of my internet machine. When you join you select all your interests and and when you hit the button it randomly loads a site. About 90% of the time it is very interesting and something I've not seen before.
