When I began my education at Ai I knew I needed to take advantage of the numerous networking tools available on the web. I knew I could showcase my work through Flickr, MySpace and so on. I had even been so bold as to create accounts on some of them, only to never look at them again.
With graduation looming I have been wanting to get into this online existance that just missed my generation. When I was in college at the dawn of this millenium I considered myself technologically savvy and stayed plugged-in to happenings within this ethereal world. My favorite one being music downloads... man, I miss Napster... stupid Metallica. I left MN and became completely un-plugged for three years. When I came back it was all MySpace this and blog that. Now, three years after that I am blogging about blogging in my very own blog... blaaaah!
Steve's email about 16 things came at a very appropriate time. Now I have a structured way to get involved with all these "things" and find out if they will be useful to me or not. I am looking forward to doing this now that I have a little push and a little help. So here is Thing 1, my blog. I put the Site Meter counter on here so I'll know if you're out there. Leave a comment if you like. Tell me if I'm not funny or maybe you need directions away from here. See you next Thing.
